Iranian president's assistant: Islamic Republic of Iran not differentiating between Shia and Sunni seminary students

Special assistant of the Iranian president and head of the council of ethnicities, religions, and sects said, "There is no difference between Shia and Sunni seminary students in the Islamic system."

Hawzah News Agency - Seyyed Mahmoud Alawi, Head of the Council of Religions and Sects, said on Sunday among the students of seminaries in Gonbad Kavus, Golestan province, north of Iran, "The more the Iranian society, especially the young generation gets familiar with the Qur'an and divine teachings, they will be less vulnerable to plots and conspiracies of enemies."

"Abdul-Sat Qara Bash", Head of the Islamic Center in Gonbad Kavus, appreciating the 14th administration's performance of employing elites and competent Sunni persons in governmental posts, stressed further benefiting from the potentials of ethnicities and sects.

This religious scholar said that there are one thousand mosques for Sunni Muslims in Golestan province and added, "The specialized center for Sunni seminary students in the province has been founded for education at the third level."
